Some stuff to help your English!
'W' strongly believes that anyone learning a language should spend a few minutes every day reading something in it or listening to it. This is why we've included some links to other web sites that can help you do just that. Even if you're not a student at 'W', feel free to take advantage of these sites.
The first site 'W' recommends is the BBC video and audio page. You'll find plenty of current affairs items and news stories, most of which are only a few minutes in length. There really is something for everyone here. Give it a go!

The next site is also on the BBC. This is the link to the World Service's Learning English. There are plenty of activities and exercises on here, including audio material and some excellent vocabulary tests. It's a site that can be used over and over again as it's always being updated.

The final site on offer is also from the BBC. However, this is really intended for A2/B1 students as it uses everyday English but in a simpler form. If the other material is too difficult, 'W' suggests this site. Don't be put off: this is perfect for anyone at a lower level.

This is the link for the 'Electronic European Language Portfolio' in Polish. It allows the user to create their own file about their language learning experiences. The great thing about it is you can make separate files for all the different languages that you study or have studied. This could make all the difference when applying for a job.
